Should you or a loved one need care for any type of terminal illness, our professional team of doctors and nurses are here to help. Hospiscare services are provided irrespective of race, religion, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, diagnosis or place of national origin. Supported by sons Hugh, Tom and Nick, I've been fundraising for Hospiscare through the Great West Run for over 20 years - this will be my 16th run. Over that time, the generosity of friends, colleagues, and family, has raised £9,505. So that's why this year's target is £495 - to bring the grand total to £10,000. Update... we did it... on the hottest May day in the UK since I was a babe in arms. Not very fast (2 hrs 47 minutes 25 seconds) but still 3rd out of the 10 over-75s who started. Huge thanks to everone who has contributed so far - the target is looking very much in reach now...
