Story
In April 2007, my life changed in a way I never expected. I was diagnosed with cancer. Overnight, my world turned upside down, filled with hospital visits, treatments, and an uncertain future.
But with the incredible support of my family, friends, and the dedication of the doctors and nurses who cared for me, I kept fighting. It wasn’t easy; there were dark days when hope felt far away. But every step, every small victory, mattered.
In June 2010, I received the news I had been waiting for: I was all clear. Cancer-free. Three years of struggle and fear finally gave way to relief, gratitude, and a new outlook on life.
Cancer affects us all in many ways. Today, I am running the London Marathon on April 26th, 2026 to raise funds for "Young Lives vs Cancer"—a charity that provides vital support to young people facing cancer and their families.
I am aiming to raise £2,500 to help give other families hope during their darkest times. Your support can make a difference in their lives as it did in mine. Together we can bring light into their journey.
