Community is at the heart of all we do at Step Rock and what better way to celebrate the festive season by raising funds for a wonderful local charity whilst having loads of fun!

On the 18th December, the Step Rock bronze, silver and gold squad swimmers will get together to take part in a two hour non-stop relay event clocking up as many meters as they possibly can!

All funds will support the amazing work of Families First which is a small charity based in St Andrews supporting children and young people with additional support needs across North East Fife.

Children referred to Families First by schools and social services join the Befriending Service or specialist Youth Groups. These are run with the help of volunteers and support the children to deal with the challenges in their lives, from autism and medical diagnoses to family circumstances such as domestic violence and low income.

Families First has found that the best way to help children reach their potential is to also support their parents and carers, so their Family Support service provides 1:1 support, peer support through a lunch group, and Family Days every school holiday.

Every penny raised goes directly to Families First to help them continue this fantastic work in our community
