Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This is the fourth year that Step Rock has chosen to support fantastic local charity, Families First, and we hope that you will support the swimmers by donating what you can.

The whole club will be taking part in a series of events this year, all centred around Distance Swimming challenges

Our Rockers will kick things off in October with Distance Challenge events of up to 2km

Our Bronze and Silver Squads will take part in a non stop relay event in November, clocking up as many lengths as possible over 2 hours

Our Gold Squad will finish things off by each swimming 100 x 100ms (10km!) in one session on December 21st

Families First is an independent charity based in St Andrews, working alongside families in rural North East Fife with children and young people aged 5 – 16+ years who are experiencing disadvantage and adversity.

They provide one to one and group work, youth groups, holiday activities, family days and school-based work. Our core services include One to One Befriending, Young People’s Support and dedicated Family Support for parents and carers. By creating safe, nurturing spaces where children can build trusting relationships, explore feelings and try new experiences, they reduce isolation and empower families to thrive.
