Story
I was originally planning to have this adventure with my brother Nick, but sadly he died from pancreatic cancer before we could plan it. My friend Paul offered to do it with me in memory of my brother. We did the 236 kms over 11 days (1 day pedalling and 10 paddling). The first day from the source is not kayakable so we pedalled the 30kms to Lechlade.
This is the reason I am keen to support this charity. I would really appreciate any donation however small to help me reach my £1,000 target.
We are Pancreatic Cancer UK.
We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.
We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
