Story

Against my better judgement, I have registered to run (or walk or crawl!) the Leeds Marathon in May 2024 in order to raise vital funds for the Cleckheaton Food Bank.

I am treasurer for the Food Bank and we deliver parcels of food and other essential items to local families in need or times of crisis. In the current cost of living crisis, we are needed more than ever.

We provide food parcels to up to 50 families each week, in and around the Cleckheaton area. We are run entirely by volunteers and rely upon fundraising, donations and grants to purchase stock.

Thank you for your donation, it will make a real difference to struggling families.
