Story

Friends, Family, and Supporters,

In April 2025, I’m taking on an incredible challenge: running not just one, but two world major marathons in just six days! On April 21st, I’ll be at the starting line of the Boston Marathon, and less than a week later, I’ll cross the Atlantic to run the London Marathon on April 27th.

This is about more than personal accomplishment—it’s a mission to raise funds for the Shaw Trust, a remarkable charity that transforms lives and empowers communities. Shaw Trust’s work helps individuals overcome barriers, access meaningful opportunities, and create stronger, more inclusive communities for all. As the Executive sponsor of Enable, our disability employee network at Nationwide I have learnt of the fantastic work the Shaw Trust do and am a huge advocate.

How You Can Help:

I’m asking for your support in reaching my fundraising goal for Shaw Trust. Your donation will go directly to their programs, helping provide critical support, skills training, and life-changing resources for people facing challenges in education, employment, and social inclusion.

Why It Matters:

Shaw Trust’s impact is profound. They believe in giving people the tools they need to thrive, and every donation will support this vision. Together, we can be part of real change, helping individuals find hope, independence, and brighter futures.

Thank you so much for your encouragement and generosity. I can’t wait to tackle each mile knowing I’m supported by you and making a difference for Shaw Trust.
