Tragically we lost one of our U12 players this season to a brain tumour. Robin was a fantastic example of everything a young man and rugby player should be and is sorely missed. Robin and his family were supported throughout his illness by Young Lives Vs Cancer, so this season the Junior section of Market Drayton RFC will be raising money for the charity by a sponsored walk by the whole club up the Wrekin. All donations are very much welcomed.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
