Story
On Tuesday 27th October 2026, I'll be setting off on my latest running adventure, the Pasty Plod 150, a 150-mile solo challenge around Cornwall to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.
The idea is to run a series of routes around West Cornwall, visiting different Cornish pasty shops as checkpoints along the way. I'll be tackling coast paths, country lanes, hills and whatever the Cornish weather decides to throw at me.
I'll be running through the day and night, with the challenge expected to take between two and three days. And before anyone asks, no, I won't be eating 150 pasties!
Last October, I completed the 104-mile Arc of Attrition route as a solo run along the Cornish coast, raising over £2,500 for Children's Hospice South West. It was one of the toughest things I've ever done, but the incredible support from everyone following my progress made it worthwhile.
Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to raise thousands of pounds for charity through my running challenges, and I'd love to make another contribution to this wonderful cause.
Children's Hospice South West provides vital care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families. The work they do is incredible, and knowing that every donation can help makes all those difficult miles worthwhile.
I'll have a live GPS tracker running throughout the challenge, so you'll be able to follow my progress, watch the miles tick by and see whether I'm still moving!
Whether you can spare £1, £5 or simply share my fundraising page, every bit of support means a great deal.
150 miles, plenty of hills and a ridiculous number of pasty shops. All for a fantastic cause.
Thank you so much for your support! Steve 🥟❤️
