Lauren and I must be mad as we have decided to join 48 other volunteers and raise some much needed money for the small yet amazing charity Rugby Against Cancer. We will be taking part in a trek from Southbank, London to Portsmouth Rugby Club!

Why Would you do something that crazy? I hear you ask? Well over the past few years all too many people close to us have been diagnosed with and are fighting cancer and we wanted to do something that could help.

RAC are raising money to fund a second holiday lodge to enable more families to have a well deserved getaway during a really difficult time. Money that we raise during our crazy challenge will go towards funding the purchase of the lodge.

The rugby family is a tribe. A bond that cannot be broken between people who genuinely love, trust, care about and look out for each other. Rugby Against Cancer is here to support that family.

Cancer does not discriminate and can affect anybody, so we want to be there for those that need it. As a charity we harness the power of the rugby community to raise funds and awareness to enhance the lives of those living with cancer.
