As many of you know, my wife Lisa passed away from cancer in August 2025. It was the most difficult time of our lives, but throughout her illness, LOROS were simply incredible.

They did everything they could to ensure Lisa was comfortable, cared for, and treated with dignity in her final months. Their compassion, professionalism and kindness made an unbearable situation just that little bit more manageable. But their support didn’t stop with Lisa, they were also there for our family and friends, offering guidance, reassurance and understanding when we needed it most.

We will always be profoundly grateful for what they did for us.

Right now, LOROS is facing a significant funding deficit and has had to scale back some of its vital services. I can’t change what happened to Lisa, but I can try to give something back to the organisation that gave us so much.

Please help me raise as much as possible to support this incredible charity, so they can continue to provide comfort, dignity and care to other families when they need it most.

LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
