On Sat 21st Jun I will be cycling across the country in a 205-mile bike ride event called ‘Chase The Sun’. We will start on the east coast at Minster-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey and finish on the west coast at Weston-Super-Mare. We will be leaving at sunrise and ‘chasing the sun’ to arrive at the finish before sunset. We expect to finish around 8pm after 15 hours of cycling.

I will be cycling with two mates, Mark and Will and together we will be raising money for the Ricky Grant Day Unit and the Breast Care Unit at Torbay Hospital. In Nov 24 my wife Jane was diagnosed with breast cancer. This turned our world upside down but the support we have had from everyone at Torbay hospital has been fantastic. We are so grateful to all the staff for helping us through our cancer journey. Jane is responding well to her chemotherapy and we are hopeful for a full recovery.

We would be so grateful for any donations towards this fantastic cause. We are hoping to raise £2000 towards the purchase of new chemo chairs and to support the great work of the Breast Care team.
