Story
We are raising money in memory of our Steve (Steve Aston), to fund a new community-access defibrillator which will be located where the charity London Hearts identifies there is a need. This may well be in Twickenham, where Steve lived with Emma for many years.
Steve tragically died of a cardiac arrest on 13th July 2024. A defibrillator significantly increases someone's chance of survival following a heart attack, if used quickly, but this requires easy-access community equipment. A defib was used on Steve. Although it did not save him, these simple-to-use machines do save lives. We would like to increase the chances of other people surviving heart attacks by providing a new defibrillator, somewhere where one is needed. We are certain Steve would support our choice of charity to fund raise for in his memory.
Thank you so much for your donation.
