Story
I am running the Manchester Marathon on April 27th 2025, in support of the Sale Sharks Foundation. As a passionate Sale Sharks fan and a board member of the Foundation, I have witnessed first hand the incredible work this organization does for our community. The Foundation is deeply committed to promoting physical and mental well-being, fostering positive behaviors, and engaging people in the power of sport. Over the past three years, the Foundation has positively impacted the lives of over 35,000 individuals across the North West, providing essential support and opportunities through various programs and initiatives.
The Sale Sharks Foundation is not just about rugby; it’s about making a lasting difference. Our programs range from delivering curriculum-based physical education in schools, to offering mental well-being workshops, to supporting local communities through various outreach initiatives. We believe in using sport as a tool to inspire and empower people of all ages and backgrounds. By promoting values such as teamwork, respect, and discipline, we help build stronger, healthier communities. It is this unwavering commitment to making a positive impact that has inspired me to dedicate my run to this incredible cause.
