2025 Ultra challenges

We provide vital funds to help young people learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their ACF experience. Our grants programmes support thousands of Army Cadets and ACF Adult Volunteers to access activities and development opportunities that make a positive impact for life.

Story

This October I’m taking on one of the toughest challenges of my life – the Ultra X Nevada 220km ultra marathon in the desert.

But the journey to the start line is just as brutal.

Next weekend I’ll be in Wales running Race the Train – 14 miles of hilly trails – but with a 35lb bergen on my back. The very next day, I’ll be in the saddle for the Tour de Môn, a 77-mile cycle around the stunning but unforgiving coastline of Anglesey.

Why? Because I’m raising funds for the Army Cadet Charitable Trust, an organisation that transforms young lives through adventure, leadership, and resilience – values I believe in with every step and pedal stroke.

Your support will make a real difference in giving young people opportunities to grow, push their limits, and discover what they’re truly capable of.

Every donation, big or small, is fuel for the miles ahead.

Let’s do this together. 💪🔥
