Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. I shall be taking part in the “Southwest Ultra Challenge” 25km loop on the 25th July 2026

In the summer of 2017, I had a cardiac arrest whilst playing football and I was fitted with a Pacemaker. The BHF gave me advice and support when I needed it most. They have a whole network of support for people experiencing heart issues and advice for their family & friends. The BHF have helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. This was my readout when I was in Hospital waiting for my device.

It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
In 2025 I was fitted with my second life-saving Pacemaker and I am glad for this opportunity to raise funds to give something back.
For information the difference between a cardiac arrest and a heart attack.
