Story

Do I have another big challenge left in my legs, knees, hips, hamstrings or mind?

My hardest challenge yet… is it possible for me to run a whopping 5 marathons in 5 consecutive days to complete the Two Moors Way, Coast to Coast, from Wembury to Lynmouth? A total of 117 miles across Dartmoor’s & Exmoor’s tough, rugged, steep, unforgiving terrain!

So, a little older, a little slower and a lot less prepared… I’ve roped my mate Gareth into running this mind-blowing challenge with me. It took 2 months to wear him into submission!! Lisa and Buddy will also be onboard for support and picking up the pieces! What a team.

9am 3rd April 2024, we will start from Wembury beach and will be climbing around 15k feet across the 5 days. It’s going to be brutal and the forecast is awful… but the dates are locked in so now we can only focus on getting fit and hoping for better weather!

The maps, distance and elevation for each day can be seen on Komoot via this link:

Thank you again for all your tremendous support and encouragement, it really helps x

Prostate Cancer UK is a cause close to mine and friends hearts. Just a little donation no matter how small will help. Unfortunately Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with 1 in 8 men being diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, it touches us all but we can help.
