Steve, Sam and Paul’s fundraiser for Great North Air Ambulance Service

Steven Crow is raising money for Great North Air Ambulance Service

Great North Run 2026 · 13 September 2026 ·

By supporting GNAAS on this iconic 13.1 mile route, you’ll be helping ensure we can continue our vital work and keep saving lives in our community.

Story

Steve Crow, Sam Wells and Paul Nelson are taking on the Great North Run to raise vital funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service. They are entirely charity-funded and urgently need donations right now to reach their £2.5m Operation SOS target to replace their ageing fleet and secure a life-saving third helicopter.

We are running to give back to the dedicated medical team of GNAAS to help ensure the crew has the resources they need so they can be there for the next family who relies on their critical care.

They provide a lifeline to the most critically ill or injured across the North East, Cumbria, and North Yorkshire, delivering advanced life-saving treatment directly to the scene when every second counts. Because they rely entirely on public support, your sponsorship will directly keep their crews airborne and equipped during this crucial time for the charity.
