Steve completed the famous Western Beach Race back in 2016 and has always planned on doing it again when he turned 50. That year has finally arrived and he is raring to go!

Steve sadly lost his mom, Ann, completely unexpectedly last year due to heart disease and he has decided to complete the race in her memory, as well as to raise money for the incredible British Heart Foundation.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.
