Story
My son was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) at the age of 2, since then I have witnessed him struggle with pain on a daily basis, he has undergone multiple general anesthetic and steroid injections and tried different medications to ease the pain. Currently, I give him an injection at home every other week to help with this condition.
I was unaware of this charity until recently and the support it offers to families who have children with (JIA). As a result I would like to fundraise and help raise awareness of this charity and condition.
JIA is a rheumatic condition affecting children and young people and can take several different forms. CCAA is a volunteer led charity run by people who have been affected by JIA and are passionate about supporting others. We have no statutory funding and have to fund raise every penny we spend. Donations help to fund all the projects and events we run across the country and of course all the family support services we operate too. Without donations we simply can't continue to support families that need our help.
