Story
On the 1st June I am participating in an exhilarating journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Blenheim Palace as I take on the exciting challenge of a Triathlon Sprint! With a 750m swim, 19.8km bike ride, and a 5.4 km run, this event promises to push my limits and test my endurance.
But I’m not just doing it for myself. I’m dedicating this endeavour to support the incredible Sue Ryder charity. This local charity holds a special place in my heart as they have supported many of my friends and family, especially my mother more recently. So, by participating in this Triathlon, I aim to raise funds and awareness for their invaluable work in our community.
Why don’t you mark your calendars and come out to cheer me on! The race village will be buzzing with excitement, offering plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a seasoned supporter or simply looking for a fun day out, your presence and donations will make a difference and spur me on towards the finish line.
Together, let’s make June 1st a day to remember.
Thank you for your support.
About the charity
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief has access to the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
