🕺Strictly Terrified (But Doing It for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice)! 🕺
Well… it’s official. I’ve completely lost the plot. On Friday 13th March 2026, I’ll be swapping my normal shoes for actual dance shoes (pray for my toes and that of my dance partner) and taking part in Dr Kershaw’s Strictly 2026!
That’s right — I’ll be one of 8 brave couples hitting the dance floor at The Loom in Oldham, in front of a live audience, real judges, and probably several witnesses to my questionable rhythm.
We’re doing this all for a fantastic cause — to raise money for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, who do truly incredible work supporting patients and families when they need it most.
Before the big night, we’ll be training with a local dance school — which basically means someone will be desperately trying to teach me which foot is my left one. With any luck, by March I’ll have graduated from “two left feet” to “one and a half.”
So if you fancy supporting this noble mix of charity, courage, and mild public embarrassment, please donate whatever you can. Every bit helps Dr Kershaw’s continue their amazing work — and helps me justify all the sequins I’m about to wear.
Thank you for your support — and remember: what happens on the dance floor… hopefully stays on the dance floor!
