Story
Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page
This will be my 6th cycling challenge raising money for good causes. My first was completed in 2015. Now 9 years older I take on another exciting and grueling event.
Please support me as we cycle over 300km in just 3 days' across the beautiful island of Mallorca. Conquering the infamous Tramuntana mountains and a climb up to the small village of Lluc. Some of the highlights include the lighthouse at Cap Formentor and the Sa Calobra which is described by the team as “arguably the world’s best cycling climb”.
This challenge is a multi-day cycle involving significant height gain on all days. I will be in the saddle in the region of 6 -7 hours each day and will need a huge physical effort at times.
Your donation will be generously matched by SJP and with the addition of Gift Aid this means that everything that is raised can go more than twice as far in making a big difference to the lives of so many disadvantaged people who are supported by the charities that the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has the privilege to fund.
The main focus of the Charitable Foundation is supporting children who are disadvantaged or have a physical or mental disability, cancer support charities, charities in aid of cancer and more recently, charities improving mental health.
At the moment my training consists of 3-4 hours per week on an exercise bike. I hope to get out on the open road soon and intend to post updates along the way.
