Hiya! I’m running the Great North Run for the third time this year.

BUT WHY?! I hear you ask.

And you’d be right to ask that. Sometimes I get drunk in the bath and sign up to things I might regret later. This might be one of those things.

Anyway. In 2019 I ran for the British Heart Foundation in memory of Dad. This year I’m hoping to raise funds for Rainbow Home- a charity based in the North East who supports LGBTQ+ people seeking asylum. They help people feel safe and welcome at a time in their lives when they need it most. I think the work they do is incredible and they deserve all the funds they can get.
