Story
🏌️♂️ Steven Cafferty is a Deaflympics bronze medallist, 4x Scottish Deaf Golf Champion, and a proud Scot who’s spent his life proving that deafness is no barrier to success. Now, he’s taking on his biggest role yet — Team Manager for Great Britain Deaf Golf at the 2025 Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo.
But there’s a catch…
🚫 Unlike Olympic and Paralympic athletes, Deaflympians receive no government funding. Every flight, hotel, meal, and tournament cost must be raised by the athletes and staff themselves.
⛳️ Steven Needs Your Help
Steven is leading and supporting a squad of elite deaf golfers to compete at the highest level. As Team Manager, he must cover:
• Flights and accommodation
• Kit, equipment, and team expenses
• On-the-ground support in Japan for players
He’s not asking for luxury — just a fair shot to represent his country and lead DeaflympicsGB with pride.
📌 Our target is £4,000 to fully cover Steven’s costs for Tokyo 2025.
🏅 Why It Matters

✅ Backs a campaign for fair play for deaf athletes
“Golf gave me confidence and purpose. Now I want to pass that on. But we can’t do it without your help.” – Steven Cafferty
