🚗 The Challenge

Steven and Lorraine will be setting off on a very personal and meaningful journey from Scotland to Portugal – a route they’ve taken annually for the past 18 years, visiting the spot where they spent their honeymoon in 2007, now lovingly referred to as their “happy place.”

They’ll be leaving from Maggie’s Lanarkshire on Friday 20th June 2025, embarking on a cross-country road trip through Europe to reach Alvor, Portugal – all while raising funds and awareness for Maggie’s.

🧡 The Fundraising Concept – £1 Per Mile

To build momentum and create a tangible, engaging link between the journey and fundraising, we’re launching a £1 per mile campaign. Based on their detailed itinerary, the total route covers 2,043 miles, and so we’re setting a collective target of £2,050, giving a small buffer to help stretch the goal and rally supporters.
