Since being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in November 2024, my world has been thrown upside down with almost constant visits to hospital, my compromised immunity has exasperated my existing symtoms. With all the side effects from nausea to sepsis, the only ray of light for my family and I, has been the ever present support from the Friends of Anchor team. The charity provides many support functions such as mental wellbeing, transport for patient and family to and from appointments, accommodation on distant appointments and many more aids to make a patients life that little bit easier, I personally think the care, friendliness and support from the charity is immeasurable and would like to aid their continued work by becoming a male model in the Brave 2025 catwalk which serves to aid the efforts of the charity.
