On Saturday 12 September 2026, I will be taking on the Bridge to Bridge Highland Cycle 2026 – a challenging yet breathtaking 77-mile (123 km) journey from the Skye Bridge to the Kessock Bridge in Inverness.

Having only recently taken up road cycling, I'm excited to push myself with this incredible challenge. What better way to do it than by cycling from the west coast, where my heart lies, to Inverness, where we now call home.

This year, the event is supporting three fantastic Highland charities:

• Aban Outdoor

• This Is Me Highland

• Highland Action for Little Ones (HALO)

These organisations do incredible work to support young people and families across the Highlands, and every donation will help make a real difference to their lives.
