I’m raising money for The Big C Foundation NI, one of Fichtner Consulting Engineers’ charity partners for 2025, and a cause I’m proud to support.

The Big C Foundation NI is a Northern Ireland-based charity inspired by the memory of young Callum Rennie, fondly known as "Big C". Callum tragically passed away from cancer in 2022, aged just three. The foundation was set up in his honour to support children with cancer and their families across Northern Ireland. I know the family behind the foundation and have great admiration for what they’re doing in Callum’s memory.

So.... can a 15-stone non-runner complete a half marathon in under 2 hours? That’s the challenge!
