Story
Back in the Saddle for a Cause That Matters 🧡
As many of you know, I have always been a keen cyclist and love a challenge. However, an ankle injury in early 2024 has meant cycling has taken a back seat for the last 18 months.
After undergoing successful ankle surgery in December 2024, I am now back on my bike, trying to get my fitness back and have taken on the ‘Celtic Challenge’ charity ride !
From Sunday 6th to Saturday 13th September, I will attempt to cycle 445 miles from Malin Head at the very top of Ireland to Mizen Head at the southernmost tip. As part of this challenge, I am proud to be raising funds for Cure Parkinson’s, a charity doing groundbreaking work to accelerate research and find a cure. Parkinson’s affects millions worldwide, and every donation, no matter how small, helps push forward the science that could find a cure and help change lives.
This comeback ride is about recovery and resilience for me and making every mile count for those living with Parkinson’s.
Cure Parkinson's is no stranger to a challenge. Driven to cure, this agile charity funds cutting edge Parkinson's research, and unites the worlds leading experts under one cause. Cure Parkinson's can only continue to have this impact with the support from people like you.
Thank you for supporting with a donation. Together, we will find a cure for Parkinson's.
