OXSRAD is a unique community where everyone is welcome. OXSRAD has been a lifeline for individuals with disabilities in Oxfordshire and beyond. As a life-enhancing health, fitness, and recreation centre, OXSRAD provides the tools and support individuals need to thrive physically and emotionally.

Story

I too was lucky to win the 2nd HRR London Marathon place- training is in full swing, and amazingly no injuries so far!

The good news is I have previous marathon experience- the bad news is that it was over 40 years ago! (see attached pic, obviously in black & white!!).

OXSRAD is the only fully inclusive sports centre in Oxfordshire, serving over 500 people - more than half of whom have a physical disability, long-term health condition or learning difficulty.

OXSRAD provides specialist therapy, social inclusion and accessible fitness programmes to anyone who needs them. The centre includes a fully accessible gym and runs a Rebound Therapy (trampoline) programme six days a week, delivering more than 60 one-to-one sessions. It’s a lifeline for hundreds of people and proudly the home of HRR.

Like Jackie, I'm also running in support of Oxsrad- please support our fantastic facility by generously donating!

Cheers!
