I am raising funds and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey as they continue to provide emotional, practical and well being support to anyone on our island affected by cancer.

In 2017, my father was diagnosed with cancer and despite having fought bravely, he sadly passed away on 1st September 2018 leaving a huge void.

Whilst I was able to deal with the loss of my father in my own way it was Macmillan Jersey that provided a safe and comforting place for my mother to turn to for the support and care that she required during this difficult time. The team were truly amazing!

Your contribution to this great cause can make a huge difference and with your support, we can help Macmillan raise the funds required to continue their vital work in our community.

As a keen cyclist, I am looking forward to the opportunity of taking part in this event which starts in Biarritz taking us through the French pyrenees and then finishing up in Collioure. We will cover a distance of 634 kilometres including 10,000 meters of climbing over the course of 6 days.

I am determined to complete it in my father's memory and equally for all of those that have lost loved ones to cancer .
