After spending 9 years sleeping rough, sofa surfing, hostels etc up and down the country between 2004-2013 I finally became sober and drug free in May 2013.

I know I am one of the very lucky ones who made it off the streets and now have a good life with fantastic family and job, though I suffer with survivors guilt.

Recently had a diagnosis of hepatitis c last year which I have thankfully cleared but opened the door to panic attacks and anxiety, which in turn has resulted in recent diagnosis of Bi polar and ADHD which goes somewhat in understanding myself.

Now I want to raise money for a service I used many times between 2011-13 to help them in anyway possible to assist the people who are still out there that just need a little spark of hope to get them back on their feet with the after support needed.

I will be climbing Ben Nevis on Sept 13 2025, I know it isn’t a massive feat but it is for someone who 13 years ago had lost all hope.
