Story
Tayla is my daughter and she was born with Downs Syndrome, nobody knows why this occurs I guess it's like winning the lottery!
We became members of Ups 'n' Downs when Tayla was about a year old, the charity support children and families affected by Downs Syndrome, there are over 60 families that receive support from the charity that is run by a group of volunteer trustees.
Ups 'n' Downs provide many services including, Training for schools, Sing and Sign, 1:1 swimming lessons, social outings, Speech and Language and so much more. Currently these services are free as we don't want any child with Downs Syndrome and their families to miss out on the much needed support.
Ups 'n' Downs have no government funding and rely on it's supporters to fundraise, that's why I will be running the Milton Keynes marathon (26.2 miles) on the 6th May to try to raise as much as I can to support this amazing charity continue the work they do.
