Carers UK were the organisation that signposted me to Carers in Hertfordshire

I am walking to support the Charity because they work tirelessly to ensure carers feel valued and supported for the huge contribution we make. They want to make sure that the care we provide isn't taken for granted by; battling for greater understanding and support in our society, being there for carers with information and advice, right from the start and by building a network of carer positive employers. Through Covid when I was looking after Mum and Ros, Carers UK through initially Care for a Cuppa, a weekly Zoom meeting bringing Carers together from across the UK. They ensured we did not feel alone.
