We are doing it again…! 😬😬
On Friday the 17th of April, me and my good friend Steven Parr are taking part in the 2026 Forget Me Not Children's Hospice charity fundraising event, ‘Race Across West Yorkshire!!!’
If we hit our target of £1500, we will do it in fancy dress…Batman & Robin….
Inspired by BBC’s ‘Race Across the World’, this thrilling event will have teams racing through the heart of West Yorkshire and raising money for Forget Me Not.
On the morning of the race, teams will gather at RRG Toyota Huddersfield from 7.00am, before being taken to an undisclosed starting location to start the race from 8am. From there, each duo will navigate through a series of checkpoints, participating in engaging activities and competing for fantastic prizes along the way.
With a strict 12-hour time limit, teams must use their wits, teamwork, and resourcefulness to make it to the final destination. This is not just a race against the clock, but a test of strategy, stamina and skill!!!
We are looking to raise much needed funds for any family confronted with the news their child has a life-shortening condition, however, wherever and whenever they are needed.
By providing superb nursing care, hydrotherapy, creative therapy, days out, memory making, end of life care, bereavement support and counselling, Forget Me Not helps families make the most of every moment they have together.
