A bucket list event for me is to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats. Nearly 1000 miles in 9 days.
Starting on Saturday the 7th of September I will be joining hundreds of other lunatics to ride the length of Britain.
A chance meeting with David Wood of Helping Homeless Veterans UK (HHVUK) and in an insight into the work he and the team are doing on behalf of veterans all over the country, inspired me to try and raise funds for a charity, which does so much to help those veterans who have one reason or another fallen on hard times. The success stories from this charity are numerous.
One of the brilliant schemes the charity has managed is Talbot Mews in Bournemouth. A set of Flats built to a very high quality for veterans to get them back on their feet. HHVUK want to build one in every county in England and Wales https://www.hhvuk.org/talbot-mews
