Story
On the 17th of June 2005, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and admitted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for my treatment. Thanks to the exceptional care and dedication of the hospital and its staff, I made a full recovery. I owe my health entirely to BCH and feel we are incredibly fortunate to have such extraordinary care available to us and those close to us, should we require it now or in the future.
That’s why, April 12th, I’ll be running the Paris Marathon to raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. This will be my first marathon, and I’m taking it on to support the hospital’s vital work and help ensure other children get the same life-changing care that I was lucky enough to receive.
Small or large, I’m incredibly grateful for every donation. BCH is an extraordinary place, having experienced first-hand the critical care they provide I know every contribution goes towards a powerful mission in supporting children and families through their toughest battles.
Thank you for taking the time to read and for supporting a cause so close to home.
