I’ve decided that waiting until October for my next challenge was too far away so have decided to sign up for the South- West 50km Ultra on 2nd August to help raise awareness of Rett Syndrome.

Rett Syndrome is a neurological condition which most often strikes previously healthy little girls between their first and second birthday, leaving them with multiple disabilities and medical complexities for life.

Penny is the 1 in 10,000 that is affected by Rett Syndrome.

Reverse Rett is a patient advocacy and research organisation working to deliver treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome to everyone affected.

Clinical trials of gene therapy have just been approved by the UK regulatory authorities. with your donation, and the help of Reverse Rett, we hope to find a cure for Penny and ‘Reverse Rett’.
