"Stick up” for Alzheimer’s fundraiser for Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer's Society is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

"Stick up” for Alzheimer’s · 28 November 2025

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Join us at Birmingham’s Paradise on Friday, 28 November for a fundraising event like no other! We’re teaming up with CBRE to support the Alzheimer’s Society with an ice hockey–themed challenge that promises fun and impact. Test your skills in our “shoot the puck” contest, meet players from the Uniflare Solihull Barons for tips and encouragement, and enjoy a free match day ticket just for taking part. Score a goal and you could win a family ticket for four!

This event celebrates our ongoing commitment to Alzheimer’s Society, proudly showcased on our project team’s vests at Three Chamberlain Square.

Can’t make it? You can still make a difference by donating via our JustGiving page. Come down, take your shot, and help us stick up for a great cause!

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. Yet it isn’t the priority it should be. There are currently estimated to be 900,000 people in the UK with dementia.

Alzheimer's Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity and the only one to tackle all aspects of dementia by giving help and hope to people living with dementia today and in the future.
