St Mary's, Churchdown fundraiser for Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity

St Mary's Churchdown is raising money for Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity
Our Lions at Large Cub Club enables schools and community groups to fundraise for their own little Lion to be part of The Pride of Gloucestershire Trail 2025. Once the trail has finished, the little Lions will return to their forever homes.

Story

Lions at Large, Gloucestershire’s first ever Wild in Art sculpture trail, will be ‘roaring’ onto the streets of Cheltenham and Gloucester next Summer. Over 30 majestic lion sculptures will be individually painted by local artists; with streets, parks and open spaces dazzling with their vibrant colours and surprising designs.

We are very excited to share that St Mary's has signed up to design and decorate one of the ‘little lions’ that will also feature on the trail! As part of this project we will be raising funds for Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity, who are organising the trail to support new cancer facilities. There are also a number of sponsorship opportunities for any local businesses who would like to support.

You can find out more about The Pride of Gloucestershire Trail at lionsatlarge.co.uk and for sponsorship opportunities please email ghn-tr.lionsatlarge@nhs.net.
