Every year the team at Stockigns/Messagemaker Displays, along with some of our customers & suppliers take on an epic challenge in the aid of raising money for our local charity - The Children's Trust. Last year we scaled Monte Perdido, 'The Lost Mountain' and raised a truely amazing £26k.

We are back again with another challenge for 2026, this year we will be taking on ‘Summit X’ as it it our tenth charity trek. We will be climbing over 3000m opposite the Mont Blanc Massive to scale Mont Buet!

This is a 2 day trek to the summit and back down again. We will be staying overnight at 7,500ft in a mountain hut and taking on the summit on day 2.

The final ascent to the summit is where it gets really tricky, ice fields, scree slopes and some jaw dropping heights.

It will require nerves of steel as well as a lot of fitness to top the mighty Summit X. At 10,000ft the altitude will make a real difference.

Our chosen charity is again The Children’s Trust. The UK’s leading charity for children with injury. Based in Tadworth (local to our HQ) the Trust runs a range of specialist care, education and therapy services for children and young people from across the UK and the UK’s largest rehabilitation centre for children with acquired brain injury (ABI)
