Story
The Stortford Spinners will be joining the 8th annual cycling tour Ziggurat along with 60+ other riders taking on the Swiss Jura mountains for a worthy cause. The team, composed of Stortford Interiors staff, clients, friends and family, will be cycling 230 miles and climbing 14,000 feet over 4 days in support of Action Medical Research.
Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. AMR have been funding medical breakthroughs for 70 years now and have helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. They are now driving forward children's research, including in the fight against premature birth and rare diseases.
By donating money for this incredible charity, you are helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases. Action Medical Research could not fund the incredible and vital medical research that they do without events like Ziggurat. The money raised by this event will be genuinely life-changing in helping AMR find treatments, vaccinations and cures to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people.
