Story

RAFFLE NOW CLOSED!

Welcome to our Just Giving fundraiser page, organised by social enterprise. Storybox, a local gifting business hoping to do their bit to riase awareness of local and social businesses here in N. Ireland whilst giving back through raising additional funds for PIPS Suicide Prevention Belfast. We are incredibly passionate about making a difference in our community, and we need your support to create a lasting impact.

Recently, we launched our special 'candle with cause' initiative called Lough Neagh Dawn, a collaboration between Storybox and the talented local artist, Amira McDonagh. The artwork for this unique candle was handpainted by Amira, adding a touch of beauty and meaning to every flame.

But it doesn't stop there. We believe in the power of collaboration, so we partnered with another remarkable social enterprise, Acorn, operated by Bolster Community, to bring the candle to life. The candles are made by a team of young adults with mixed abilities at Acorn and for every Lough Neagh Dawn candle sold, we will donate £2 to PIPS, a vital organisation dedicated to suicide prevention. With your support, we can help make a difference in the lives of those affected by mental health challenges.

In addition to the above 'buy one, give one' initiative, Amira, the talented artist behind the candle's artwork, has generously donated the original piece to be raffled off. By participating in the raffle, you have the chance to win this one-of-a-kind artwork while contributing to the important cause of suicide prevention.
