In Memory of David Barnes

Following the passing of David, the family have asked if anyone would like to make a donation, they can do so, to either of the two charities that were extremely close to his heart. Lighthouse for Perth feel privileged to be one of these chosen charities. David was always a huge advocate for young people and worked extremely hard to improve the mental health of anyone who was struggling. He would go out of his way to spend time with people and had a gift to lift spirits just when it was needed. David showed a real interest in the work that Lighthouse does for the young people in Perth & Kinross and as a former chairing member and trainer of the Children’s Panel, he was very aware of the challenges/difficulties that young people can face. The work in suicide prevention was something that David was very passionate about and Lighthouse are very grateful to his family: Tessa, Molly, Emily and Rory for asking for Lighthouse donations in his memory. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
