Story
This October, I’m running a 10K with ASICS but this run means so much more than just crossing a finish line.
I’m running for my mum and my dad.
My mum is currently battling stage 3c advanced ovarian cancer, and more recently, my dad was also diagnosed with prostate cancer. Never in a million years did I imagine I’d be watching both my parents fight cancer at the same time. But this is the road we’ve been given, and we’re going to walk it head on, together.
Watching two of the people I love most go through this journey has changed me in ways I can’t fully put into words. I’ve seen strength in its rawest form. I’ve seen resilience, even on the hardest days. And I’ve seen just how important support, care, and hope truly are.
That’s why I’m raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organisation that helps people and families navigate some of the toughest moments of their lives.
Every step I take is for them.
For their strength.
For their fight.
For every family going through something similar.
If you can support in any way, whether that’s donating, sharing, or simply sending love, it truly means everything.
This one is bigger than me. 💚
