Back in 2023, James took part in his first ever dance competition and quickly discovered how much he loved the experience. After thoroughly enjoying the challenge, he jumped at the chance to return to the dance floor in 2025. This year, he’ll be competing with a new partner, Rebecca, who has enthusiastically stepped up to take on the challenge with him.

Both James and Rebecca are beginners in the grand scheme of things, which makes their entry into this Strictly Come Dancing style competition all the more exciting. On the 13th of December 2025, the pair will take to the floor to perform the Cha Cha in support of Inspire Suffolk (www.inspiresuffolk.org.uk). Despite being a newly formed partnership, they are embracing the process together, learning step by step, and proving that two committed learners can rise to the occasion.

Their efforts are all in aid of Inspire Suffolk, a charity that works tirelessly to support young people facing real challenges and to guide them toward brighter futures. Thousands have already benefited from Inspire’s services, gaining opportunities and support they might not otherwise have had.
