Objectives & Mission Statement:To empower others who have been or who are in the same situation as we once were, affected and effected by Stroke. We will offer support, encouragement, advice, guidance and experience. To help train the survivors with new skills so that eventually they can find their own route back into work, be it voluntary, phased, part time or full time but at a pace that they are comfortable with.

Story

This fundraising campaign aims to support a stroke survivor community organization that provides vital services locally and nationally. They offer support, guidance, and rehabilitation assistance to stroke survivors, emphasizing their firsthand experience in navigating life after a stroke. The organization operates drop-in sessions, both in person and via Zoom, providing a safe space for survivors to connect and share experiences. They advocate for awareness, acknowledgement, acceptance, and action as crucial steps in the recovery journey. Additionally, they collaborate with various local organizations, including Disability Stockport and Stockport Metropolitan Council, to enhance support services and promote stroke awareness. By donating to this campaign, you can help expand their reach, provide more resources, and empower stroke survivors on their path to recovery. Run by Survivors, Stroke info is best placed to offer the essential rehabilitation for return to the fullest life possible. They know because they have been there. Helping other also has a huge Synergetic impact for all. Could happen to any one of our Family or friends, lets please give what we can.
