Story

Following the success of last year, Strongdor is proud to once again take part in the St John’s Hospice 50-50-500 Challenge! This cause is close to our hearts, as many of our team members have had personal connections with the hospice and the incredible support it provides to families.

The challenge began on Monday 1st April 2025, giving us 50 working days to raise funds.

St John's Hospice provides palliative care for the community of North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire.

For those who would like to donate directly, please follow the link below. Donating through JustGiving is quick, easy, and secure. Your details are protected, and JustGiving will never share them or send unsolicited emails. Once you donate, the funds will go directly to the charity, ensuring the most efficient use of your contribution by reducing overhead costs and saving time.

As part of the 50-50-500 Challenge, we're giving one lucky customer the chance to have Leon host a BBQ. Every customer who donates £5 or more will be entered into a raffle to win the opportunity for Leon to travel to you and your team and host a BBQ.

Terms & Conditions:

Location: The BBQ will be hosted at the winner’s office or site location, within a maximum 4-5 hour drive each way from the Strongdor Head Office (as agreed upon).

Availability: Leon will host the BBQ on a mutually agreed-upon date.

Guests: The BBQ will cater to up to 15 guests maximum.

Responsibility for Supplies: The winning bidder will provide any additional ingredients and must confirm specific dietary requirements 1 week prior to the event with Strongdor.

Cancellation Policy: If the winning bidder needs to cancel, they must notify at least 14 days in advance. If the BBQ is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, another date will be arranged to suit Strongdor.

Deadline: All donations must be submitted by midnight on 16th May.

Event Timeline: The BBQ event must be scheduled on a mutually agreed-upon date, within 6 months from 1st May.
