1. What is Stronger Cryfach?

Stronger Cryfach exists to introduce men to Jesus. It is not primarily a conference for Christians; it is an intentionally evangelistic event designed to help men who may never normally walk into church hear the Gospel clearly, honestly, and compellingly. The aim is to create space for men to step away from everyday noise, consider life’s biggest questions, and respond to Jesus.

2. Why does this matter?

For over 30 years, CVM has been committed to introducing men to Jesus and helping the Church connect with men. We know many men across Wales are battling isolation, poor mental health, addiction, hopelessness, and disconnection. We also know many are unlikely to engage in traditional church settings. Stronger Cryfach exists to meet men where they are, remove unnecessary barriers, and present the life-changing message of Jesus in a way they can genuinely engage with.

3. Why this kind of event?

Experience has shown that church-based events often attract men who are already comfortable in Christian spaces. If we want to reach men who do not yet know Jesus, we need to create an environment where they feel at ease from the outset. An outdoor, informal setting helps men relax, connect naturally, and have honest conversations. Shared activities, open space, testimony, Gospel invitation, and time to reflect all combine to create a weekend that feels real, accessible, and significant.

4. Why Go Wild Adventures?

Go Wild Adventures is an ideal setting for Stronger Cryfach. Set in the Carmarthenshire countryside, it offers men the chance to step away from routine and distractions into a setting that feels open, grounded, and reflective. The venue supports the kind of experience we want to create: hospitality, shared activity, firepit conversations, overnight camping, and meaningful moments that allow deeper questions about life and faith to surface naturally. Just as importantly, the hosts are fully behind the vision.

5. What are we praying for?

We want Stronger Cryfach 2026 to be led by the Holy Spirit from beginning to end. Please pray for wisdom in planning, clarity in decision-making, openness in the hearts of men, and genuine encounters with Jesus. Pray that barriers would fall, that the Gospel would be heard clearly, and that men across Wales would come to faith and begin living wholeheartedly for Christ.

6. How can you support?

We need partners in two key ways: prayer and finance. Our hope is to make Stronger Cryfach a free event so that cost is not a barrier to any man attending. To do that well, we need to raise £5000. We would be grateful if you would consider giving, and also introducing us to individuals, churches, and organisations who may want to support the vision.
